Our company philosophy has always been to produce wines that are the expression of the territory. On the other hand, the terroir we seek to enhance must be healthy, rich, wholesome and in balance with the natural resources and ecosystem present in our territory. Therefore, it has always been our commitment to try to minimize the impact on the environment, working at 360 degrees with particular attention to sustainability .

In fact, we have always aimed at reducing waste and we are a company with a low environmental impact . In our cellar we use the latest generation machinery with very low energy consumption and recently we have also further expanded our photovoltaic system. In fact, we aim for energy independence: all these measures are strategic allies for us for our idea of a green business .

what green means for us

No Chemistry

In the vineyard we try to always be at the forefront. Many new techniques to safeguard the environment have been introduced in our vineyards. An example can be the so-called "sexual confusion", a method of hormonal diffusion in the vineyard, which prevents the reproduction of some insects and allows us to totally avoid insecticides, pesticides and chemicals.

Gravity effect

Cellar specially designed on two levels. The conferment of the grapes and the first processing take place on the upper floor, then the fermentation and the following phases of evolution and refinement of the wines take place in an underlying environment. This allows us to exploit the gravity effect and therefore naturally we are able to get the must by gravity and naturally into the tanks.

Underground Cellar

Since the company is totally underground, we are able to maintain a constant temperature inside and therefore we are able to avoid mechanical conditioning which would have an impact from an energy point of view.

Cooling down

Our tanks in the cellar are equipped with an adequate mixture of refrigerated fluid that allows the wines to cool. This modern system allows us to avoid the continuous flow of running water on the tanks to keep them at the right temperature, saving also here in an important way the use of h2o.

Photovoltaic panels

We are equipped with about sixty solar panels that allow us to be self-sufficient and to produce in a green way all the energy we need for the operation of the entire company

Mechanical Weeding

We do not use chemical weeding in the vineyard, but we proceed with mechanical machinery


Use of steam and not running water. Steam is able to eliminate bacteria and sanitize the environment, but above all it also allows us to save a lot of water
