Grapes: Lagrein 100%.
Vineyard location: Piana Rotaliana.
Soil type: alluvial landﬁll from the river Noce, highly fertile top soil with excellent drainage.
Vine training system: Trentino Pergola.
Viniﬁcation: the grapes are handpicked, then selected and viniﬁed in stainless tanks. The fermentation takes place with an 8-15 day maceration on the skins and at a controlled temperature of 26/28 degrees. The wine ages in stainless steel and a small percentage in barriques. It ages for a further few months in the bottle.
To be served at: 18°-20° C.
Food Pairing: a well structured full bodied wine. It matches well with cured meat, traditional Trentino ﬁrst course dishes, roast, mild game and aged cheeses.
