Gewürztraminer

Grapes: Gewürztraminer 100% (Aromatic Traminer).

Vineyard location: Cembra valley, on mountain terraces between 500 and over 800 meters a.s.l..

Soil type: partly loose, porphyritic, partly coarse-silty, calcareous.

Vine training system: Guyot and Trentino Pergola

Vinification: manual grape selection and harvesting. Fermentation at a controlled temperature and aging in stainless steel vats. Further aging in the bottle for a couple of months.

Characteristics: bright yellow straw color. Elegant and complex on the nose, with intense flowery and fruity notes. Full, rich, soft and persistent on the palate.

To be served at: 10-12° C.

Food Pairing: perfect as an aperitif or combined with various appetizers, canapés with savory cheeses, foie gras or raw fish. It goes well with shellfish, asparagus and spicy dishes.
